With more than 40 years of hands-on experience, Allan Maniate is a professional dog trainer dedicated to helping dogs and their owners build lasting, positive relationships through effective, reward-based training.
Allan offers group classes, private lessons, personalized in-home training, workshops, and seminars. His experience goes far beyond basic obedience — draft work (carting), water rescue, conformation, junior handling, agility, and many other canine sports and activities.
Every program is based on positive reinforcement methods, creating a safe, enjoyable learning environment that builds confidence in both dogs and their handlers. Recognized for his expertise within the dog community, Allan is a Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) Draft Dog Judge and a CKC Water Rescue Dog Judge.
In addition to training, Allan designs, manufactures, and distributes high-quality dog training equipment — products that are safe, durable, affordable, and built to stand up to everyday use.
When weather permits, classes are held in Allan's spacious outdoor training arena. During inclement weather, training continues in his fully equipped indoor facility — so you and your dog can learn comfortably year-round.
