Training

Allan offers an opportunity for the whole family to get involved in the training. His personalized lessons are based on your pet’s and family’s needs. He offers in home customized training, group classes, and private instruction (individual or group). All training is done using positive reinforcement. Training is flexible and sessions can be booked for individuals, groups, or clubs. Allan is available seven days a week and training is scheduled by the hour, day, or weekend.

Obedience

Obedience classes are available for all levels from the beginner puppy to advanced competitive levels.

Carting

Carting instruction is available for all levels from single dog recreational to single or brace dog CKC titling, as well as all levels of Draft Dog (DD) to Brace Draft Dog Excellent (BDDX).

Water Rescue

Water rescue training is available for all levels from basic retrieving through to advanced life saving of multiple victims for Water Rescue Dog (WRD) and Water Rescue Dog Excellent (WRDX) titles.

Conformation

Conformation classes are available from beginner handling classes to professional handling. Allan provides tips and techniques to highlight your dog’s attributes.

Junior Handling

Junior handling is for all young handlers from 4 to 16 years of age. Juniors prepare for questions that judges may ask, as well as learning technical information regarding dogs, their groups, and anatomy.

Puppy Training

Puppy training starts from the moment you bring your new puppy home. Allan covers boundary training, leash training, stop nipping, stop jumping, house training, puppy manners, and basic control.

Behavioural

Allan has experience socializing dogs to be near other people and animals, confidence building, chewing, barking, and various other issues.

Miscellaneous

Allan’s expertise stretches beyond the confines of typical training and into other specialized training, such as skijoring, basic field trial preparation, rally-o, and teaching tricks.
